As promised for some time now we are finally posting seven water colors painted by Arvin High School Alumna Sharon 'Smothermen' Schwenk (AHS 60'). Sharon selected these to share with us and we are grateful that she has been willing to do so. Sharon's website and gallery are listed on the alumni businesses tab if you'd like to see more, purchase a painting, or attend one of Sharon's workshops. She will be in Bakersfield, from her studio in North Carolina, in May to conduct a workshop and to do a demonstration painting. The demonstration painting will be open to the public.
