We have deliberately used the word 'philanthropy' for this page rather than scholarships, because our goal has always been to make 'charitable' efforts across the board and not just limit our work to academic scholarships. We believe that some of you will want to make directed gifts to various departments at Arvin High School (e.g., arts, sciences, athletics, clubs, academic scholarships, facilities, etc.), while others just want to give and allow it to be used 'where it's needed'. Consequently, 'academic scholarships' was too narrow a heading. Below are links to the current categories you may want to read about and consider. We will add or remove categories as needs arise and/or as needs are met.
